Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to handle the movement, loading, unloading, and storage of materials within the warehouse/factory premises. The candidate should ensure proper material handling while following company safety procedures and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and pallets within the facility.
- Stack and arrange materials properly in designated locations.
- Perform daily inspection of forklifts before operation.
- Report any equipment damage or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in the work area.
- Assist in inventory movement and stock verification when required.
- Ensure proper documentation for material movement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in forklift operation.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse and material handling procedures.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Good understanding of safety practices.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting materials when required.
Educational Qualification
- SSLC / HSC / ITI or equivalent qualification.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of battery charging and basic forklift maintenance.
Job Types: Regular / Permanent, Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
