Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical site execution, supervision, and project coordination. The candidate will be responsible for managing electrical works at site, ensuring quality and timely execution, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and maintaining project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day electrical works at the project site.
- Ensure execution as per approved electrical drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Inspect electrical installations, equipment, materials, and workmanship.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned works.
- Review electrical drawings and identify site-related technical issues.
- Coordinate installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, cabling, and related works.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records, measurements, and site documentation.
- Coordinate material requirements and ensure proper utilization of materials.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and site safety procedures.
- Identify delays, discrepancies, and technical issues and report them to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and completion of electrical installations.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with other engineering disciplines to avoid execution conflicts.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction and site execution.
- Good understanding of electrical drawings, BOQ, specifications, and installation practices.
- Knowledge of electrical testing, commissioning, earthing, cabling, and power distribution.
- Strong coordination and site management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
Eligibility
- B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical site execution.
- Experience in building/infrastructure projects will be preferred.
- Willingness to work at project sites as required.
