Role description
Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements
Power BI Data Modelling Experience (Relationships, Hierarchies and Calculated Columns)
Moderate Experience in writing DAX queries
Schedule and Manage Data Refreshes and gateway configurations
Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues.
Maintain documentation for dashboards, datasets and other artifacts
Basic understanding of SQL for fetching data from database (Oracle , SQL Server etc)
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
SQL/ PLSQL & DAX – MDX Queries
Publishing Power BI reports / Power BI Cloud
Experience in data profiling, Data quality check
Good Communication and Documentation skills
Experience in converting business requirement into concept/ technical specification
- Interact with customer to understand business requirement
- Create/ track open point list and co-ordinate with customer to clarify
- Convert business requirement to concept/ technical specification
- Creation of activity plan as per the agreed concept with timelines
- Design, Develop and Deploy solution
- Unit & Integration testing
- Hand holding key users in report utilization
- Support customers during the stabilization phase
