Job Summary:
The Purchase Manager at VR Coatings Pvt Ltd is responsible for procurement of raw materials, consumables, and equipment related to coating and industrial operations, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and uninterrupted production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure raw materials (paints, coatings, chemicals, solvents, etc.)
- Source and negotiate with vendors for pricing, quality, and delivery
- Develop and maintain vendor base
- Coordinate with production, stores, and quality teams
- Issue Purchase Orders and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor inventory levels
- Procure machinery, spare parts, and maintenance items
- Evaluate vendor performance
- Ensure GST compliance and documentation
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
Required Skills:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management
- Knowledge of industrial materials
- ERP and MS Excel proficiency
- Good communication and coordination
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business/Supply Chain
- MBA preferred
Experience:
- 5-10 years in procurement
- Manufacturing/coatings industry preferred

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
