Position: Senior Sales Executive

Experience: 4–5 Years in Retail Sales
Reporting To: Store Manager / Sales Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Senior Sales Executive to drive sales growth, enhance customer experience, and support store operations. The ideal candidate should have strong retail sales experience, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to handle high-profile customers while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as architects and project clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Generate new business opportunities through customer referrals, architects, contractors, and project leads.
- Promote company products and solutions to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and sales conversions.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Handle and manage high-profile/VIP customers professionally.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product recommendations.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Address customer concerns and coordinate timely resolutions.
3. Site Visits & Project Coordination
- Conduct site visits for architects, interior designers, builders, and customers.
- Understand project requirements and provide product specifications and solutions.
- Coordinate with customers during project execution and order fulfillment.
- Generate project-based sales opportunities and maintain regular follow-ups.
4. Team Liaising & Coordination
- Coordinate effectively with sales, operations, warehouse, logistics, and accounts teams.
- Ensure smooth communication between customers and internal departments.
- Support the store team in achieving overall business objectives.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior sales staff when required.
5. Visual Merchandising (VM)
- Ensure proper product display and visual merchandising standards within the showroom.
- Coordinate with the VM team to maintain attractive product presentation.
- Monitor display effectiveness and suggest improvements to enhance customer engagement and sales.
6. Store Operations Support
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment requirements.
- Support store management in day-to-day operational activities.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 4–5 years of experience in Retail Sales.
- Candidates currently working as Store Managers may also apply.
- Strong experience in handling premium and high-profile customers.
- Experience in architect/client coordination and site visits.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of retail operations and customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
