Job Summary
An Education Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students in selecting suitable courses and programs based on their educational background, career aspirations, and interests. The role involves counselling students, managing admissions, following up on inquiries, and achieving enrollment targets while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding available courses, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
- Understand students' academic goals and recommend appropriate programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
- Follow up with prospective students to convert inquiries into admissions.
- Explain course details, fee structure, scholarships, and payment options.
- Assist students with the application, documentation, and enrollment process.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, student interactions, and admissions in the CRM.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams for smooth admissions.
- Conduct campus tours and participate in educational seminars, webinars, and promotional events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
- Meet monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Stay updated on course offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree is an advantage).
- 1–3 years of experience in education counselling, admissions, sales, or customer relationship management.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.

Working Conditions
- Full-time office-based role.
- May require weekend or extended working hours during admission seasons.
- Participation in education fairs, seminars, and promotional activities as required.
