Role Summary
The Quality Manager – Panel Manufacturing is responsible for establishing, managing, and continuously improving the quality management system within the panel manufacturing unit. You will ensure that all products, processes and documentation meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and internal performance benchmarks throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Quality Management & Systems
- Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) tailored to panel manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001 or equivalent manufacturing QMS), customer specifications, and statutory/regulatory requirements.
- Monitor the effectiveness of quality processes and procedures; perform regular internal audits.
Inspection & Control
- Oversee quality inspection systems including incoming inspection, in-process checks, and final inspection before dispatch.
- Define, document and enforce inspection criteria, test procedures, and control plans specific to panel manufacturing.
- Ensure inspection tools and equipment are calibrated, maintained and used correctly.
Process Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and non-conformances on the shop floor.
- Analyze quality data and key metrics to identify trends and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with production, engineering, design and procurement teams to address quality issues and implement engineering changes where needed.
Customer & Supplier Quality
- Act as the primary contact for customer quality concerns, field failures, and complaint resolution; ensure timely corrective action.
- Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to validate their quality performance and compliance with contract requirements.
Team Leadership & Training
- Lead, mentor and build the quality team (inspectors, engineers and technicians) to drive quality culture.
- Conduct quality awareness and skills training for production/assembly personnel.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate quality records, reports, non-conformance logs, audit reports, and compliance documentation.
- Prepare periodic quality performance dashboards and present them to senior management.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
