Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the company's end-to-end accounting operations, taxation, statutory compliance, payroll, financial reporting, and cash flow. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, payroll, and statutory regulations, with the ability to independently handle daily accounting functions, prepare financial reports, and coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Manage complete accounting operations and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Maintain General Ledger and perform regular ledger scrutiny.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Generate and maintain purchase invoices, sales invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and billing records.
- Manage purchase order accounting and manufacturing accounting transactions.
- Process vendor payments and monitor payment schedules.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and reconcile customer, vendor, debtor, creditor, and ledger accounts.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing of accounts.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Manage complete GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-2A, GSTR-2B, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GST reconciliation, and annual returns.
- Prepare and file GST returns accurately within statutory deadlines.
- Generate and manage E-Way Bills.
- Handle TDS and TCS calculations, deductions, reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly return filing.
- Manage Income Tax-related compliance and support tax assessments.
- Handle PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, taxation laws, and government regulations.
Payroll & Cash Flow Management
- Prepare and process monthly payroll using Patooja Payroll / Tally Prime / Tally ERP (All Versions) Software and other payroll systems.
- Manage payroll statutory deductions, reimbursements, and compliance.
- Monitor daily cash flow and prepare fund planning reports.
- Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis, variance reports, and management dashboards.
- Perform data analysis using Excel and accounting software.
- Prepare reports for management decision-making and business performance analysis.
Audit & Coordination
- Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and documentation for Internal Audits and Statutory Audits.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, Internal Auditors, Statutory Auditors, Banks, and Government Departments.
- Support tax assessments, statutory audits, and financial inspections.
- Ensure timely submission of audit-related information and compliance documents.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in GST Return Filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-2A, GSTR-2B, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
- Experience in E-Way Bill generation and GST reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of General Ledger Management and Financial Reporting.
- Expertise in Bank, Debtor, Creditor, Vendor, and Ledger Reconciliation.
- Experience in Manufacturing Accounting and Purchase Order Management.
- Knowledge of Payment Processing and Cash Flow Management.
- Experience in preparing financial statements, MIS reports, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- CA Inter (Appeared/Pursuing) or relevant accounting certifications will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 4–7 years of experience in Accounting, Taxation, and Finance.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and statutory compliance.
- Experience in independently managing complete accounting functions.
- Ability to coordinate with auditors, banks, consultants, and government authorities.
- High attention to detail with excellent accuracy and integrity.
Salary
