The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the assigned area.
* Achieve sales targets through effective planning and execution.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers.
* Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
* Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to maximize their potential.
* Identify opportunities for growth within the region and develop plans to capitalize on them.
* Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competition.
* Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to support sales efforts.
* Ensure excellent customer service and manage conflict resolution when necessary.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
* Proven experience of 3-4 years as an Area Sales Manager or sales in the FMCG industry only.
* Only FMCG Experience candidates apply.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
* Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
