Job Purpose
To ensure that all raw materials, in-process products, and finished products comply with customer specifications, company quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements by conducting inspections, maintaining quality records, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesRaw Material Inspection
- Inspect incoming paper board, inks, coatings, adhesives, and other packaging materials.
- Verify supplier COAs and material specifications.
- Maintain Raw Material Inspection Records.
In-Process Quality Control
- Conduct line clearance before production start-up.
- Monitor printing quality, colour matching, registration, die-cutting, and gluing operations.
- Verify critical parameters during production.
- Conduct periodic quality checks and record observations.
Finished Goods Inspection
- Perform finished goods inspection as per approved AQL standards.
- Verify dimensions, appearance, colour, coding, and packing requirements.
- Release or reject finished products based on specifications.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain all quality records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Prepare and maintain:
- Inspection Reports
- Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)
- CAPA Reports
- Calibration Records
- COA Verification Records
- Customer Complaint Records
- Quality Registers and Logs
Audits & Compliance Systems
- Support implementation and maintenance of:
- ISO 9001:2015
- FSC Certification
- GMP Requirements
- BRCGS Packaging Standards
- SEDEX Requirements
- Participate in internal and external audits.
Customer & Supplier Quality Activities
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions.
- Conduct supplier quality evaluations and follow-ups.
- Assist in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.
Training & Awareness
- Provide quality awareness training to production personnel.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and work instructions.
Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Printing Technology, Packaging Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or any relevant discipline.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the Printing & Packaging Industry.
- Experience in mono cartons, corrugated packaging, or flexographic printing preferred.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of printing and packaging processes.
- Understanding of colour standards and inspection methods.
- Knowledge of AQL sampling plans.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, FSC, GMP, and BRCGS requirements.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.

Salary
As per company standards and candidate experience.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
