Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings based on design inputs and customer specifications.
- Create manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and production drawings.
- Modify and update drawings as per engineering changes and customer requirements.
- Maintain proper drawing revision control and documentation.
- Prepare detailed dimensions, tolerances, BOM (Bill of Materials), and fabrication details in drawings.
- Coordinate with the Design, Production, PPC, Quality, and Purchase departments for drawing clarifications.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and customer specifications.
- Assist in preparing layouts, GA (General Arrangement) drawings, and shop floor production drawings.
- Support production by resolving drawing-related issues and implementing design modifications.
- Maintain records of all drawings in both soft copy and hard copy formats.
- Ensure timely completion of drawings to support production schedules.
- Follow company quality standards and document control procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI/BE in Mechanical Engineering, Draftsman Mechanical, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as an AutoCAD Operator in a manufacturing or engineering company.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and production documentation.
- Understanding of sheet metal components, fabrication processes, and manufacturing practices.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and electrical enclosure manufacturing.
- Knowledge of powder coating requirements and fabrication standards.
- Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, bending, welding, and assembly drawings.
- Basic understanding of ERP systems is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
