About the Role
We are looking for a Hardware Support Executive to provide technical assistance and ensure the smooth functioning of computer systems, hardware devices, and network equipment. The ideal candidate should have basic troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral-related issues.
- Provide technical support to employees for system and device-related concerns.
- Perform routine maintenance and system health checks.
- Install and update operating systems, drivers, and software applications.
- Monitor and maintain IT inventory, including hardware assets and accessories.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
- Assist in network troubleshooting, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity issues.
- Ensure proper documentation of support requests and resolutions.
- Follow IT security policies and best practices.
- Helping in Onboarding process biometrics
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.
- Understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Hardware & Networking, or a related field.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Hardware & Networking certifications will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Active Directory, printers, and network devices.
- Experience with system installation and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity and data backup procedures.
