Job Description – AGM/DGM – Finance & Accounts
Location: New Chandigarh
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Assistant General Manager (AGM) / Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Finance & Accounts to lead and oversee the organization’s finance and accounting operations. The candidate will work closely with senior management and the CFO to ensure strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, effective financial planning, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and variance analysis.
- Prepare and review MIS reports, financial dashboards and profitability analysis for senior management.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, working capital and treasury operations.
- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Coordinate project finance, loan documentation and banking compliance.
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, Companies Act and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate statutory, internal and tax audits.
- Strengthen internal financial controls, SOPs and risk management processes.
- Monitor project-wise accounting, cost allocation, profitability and financial performance.
- Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.
Candidate Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- 10–15 years of post-qualification experience
- Minimum 4–5 years in a managerial role
- Experience in Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, Hospitality or similar industries preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, audits and treasury management
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Advanced MS Excel and financial modelling
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, analytical, communication and decision-making skills and the ability to manage multiple financial responsibilities effectively.
Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
