We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide IT support to our employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and system-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth day-to-day operations. The candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot business applications and office productivity software.
- Handle user account creation, password resets, and access-related issues.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and printer connectivity.
- Configure and maintain email clients such as Microsoft Outlook and other communication tools.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and security patch installations.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and warranty claims.
- Set up workstations for new employees, including hardware, software, and user account configuration.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets, software licenses, and accessories.
- Document support requests, resolutions, and technical procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and company standards.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when required.
- Provide timely and professional technical support to end users.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or in a similar IT support role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for desktop hardware and software issues.
- Good knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and common business applications.
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, LAN, and Wi-Fi.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, user management, and group policies is preferred.
- Familiarity with antivirus solutions, endpoint security, and system updates.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware assembly and replacement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work on-site during the night shift (6:30 PM – 3:30 AM).
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, ITIL, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- 1–3 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk.

Shift Timing: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM (Night Shift)
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
