Human Resources Executives are responsible for the overall management of human resources activities and initiatives within an organization. They are tasked with developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the human resources department. They are also responsible for managing employee relations and creating a positive working environment.
Specific duties of Senior Human Resources Executives include:
Developing and executing strategies for recruiting, training, and retaining qualified employees.
Evaluating and improving existing human resource systems, policies, and procedures.
Developing and implementing performance management systems and tools.
Designing and managing employee benefit programs.
Creating/managing employee orientation programs.
Developing and maintaining positive employee relations.
Developing and executing employee recognition programs.
Building and sustaining effective relationships with external organizations.
Investigating and resolving employee complaints.
Ensuring compliance with state and federal labor laws.
Overseeing the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
Analyzing and addressing employee turnover trends.
