Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building server-side applications, optimizing and maintaining the server, and collaborating with front-end developers to ensure a seamless integration between the user interface and the server-side logic. You will play a critical role in creating and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement robust and efficient APIs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Maintain code quality through code reviews and writing unit tests.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Node.js development.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to develop high-quality software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer, with a strong portfolio of previous projects.
- Proficiency in server-side programming with Node.js and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and an understanding of their integration with Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of database systems, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of web security and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with popular Node.js frameworks, such as Express.js or NestJS.
- Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization.
