KKC Ladies Hostel is seeking a dedicated, responsible, and well-experienced Chief Warden to oversee the complete administration and welfare of our residential hostel. The ideal candidate must be a mature, disciplined professional who can maintain a safe, orderly, and nurturing environment for all hostel residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall hostel operations including discipline, security, and hygiene
- Supervise warden staff and other support personnel
- Handle allotment of rooms, and maintenance of resident records
- Address resident grievances and maintain a supportive, safe atmosphere
- Oversee mess/dining operations, cleanliness, and upkeep of hostel facilities
- Enforce hostel rules and ensure resident safety at all times
- Coordinate with management and submit regular reports on hostel status
- Handle emergency situations promptly and effectively
Eligibility & Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a hostel warden or in a similar residential management role
- Graduate or postgraduate degree preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle administrative responsibilities independently
- Calm, patient, and empathetic attitude towards residents
- Willingness to reside on the hostel premises
- Proficiency in local language; knowledge of English is an added advantage
