- Lead the design, assessment, and strengthening of ambient air quality monitoring networks across Uttar Pradesh.
- Provide technical guidance on CAAQMS, source monitoring systems, and QA/QC protocols.
- Analyze air quality data and prepare technical reports, policy briefs, dashboards, and recommendations.
- Support emission inventories, source apportionment studies, and airshed management initiatives.
- Develop SOPs, monitoring frameworks, and technical guidelines.
- Support integration of monitoring data into decision-support systems and air quality management platforms.
- Coordinate with UPPCB, Directorate of Environment, Urban Local Bodies, and other relevant departments.
- Work closely with the UPCAMP PMU and implementing agencies to support planning, monitoring, reporting, and implementation of project activities.
- Conduct capacity-building programme and technical trainings for government officials and stakeholders.
- Any other tasks as assigned by CEO, UPCAMP AUTHORITY
- Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering- Environmental Science- Atmospheric Science- Air Pollution Control- Chemical Engineering- Civil Engineering- or related disciplines especially Air quality modeling using AI-ML.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in air quality monitoring and air pollution management.
Preferrable: Prior experience working with Government Departments and Agencies in Uttar Pradesh. Experience in NCAP- airshed management- Clean Air Action Plans- and World Bank/ADB-supported projects
- Strong analytical- technical writing- and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in air quality data analysis using AI/ML- GIS applications- and monitoring software.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
