Administers traditional treatments prescribed by an Ayurveda physician. They perform therapeutic procedures, prepare herbal oils, and maintain clinic hygiene. This role requires deep knowledge of human anatomy and wellness, typically carried out in hospitals, resorts, or holistic centers.
- Therapy Execution: Perform specific Ayurvedic treatments such as Abhyanga (oil massage), Shirodhara, Panchakarma (Vamana, Virechana, etc.), and Kizhi.
- Preparation: Set up treatment rooms and prepare necessary herbal oils, pastes, and decoctions according to physician protocols.
- Patient Care: Guide clients through therapy, ensure their safety and comfort, and explain the benefits of the procedures.
- Hygiene and Maintenance: Maintain impeccable cleanliness in the therapy spaces, sterilize equipment, and restock supplies.
