DoonDzn is a Dehradun-based web design and development agency working with businesses across India and internationally. We build e-commerce storefronts on Shopify and WordPress, custom software systems (LMS, CRM, internal tools), and end-to-end digital solutions for D2C brands, service companies, and established businesses. We are a lean, focused team in an active growth phase — and we're looking for our first dedicated business development hire who can own the sales function end-to-end.
About this role
We have two SDRs (Vikas and Priyal) doing outreach and lead sourcing. What we don't have is someone who can take a qualified lead, run a proper discovery conversation, write a sharp proposal, and bring the deal home. That is this role. You will be the bridge between a prospect who is curious and a signed client who is ready to start. You'll also set the targeting strategy that the outreach team executes — deciding which industries to focus on, which types of companies to approach, and what message to lead with.
This is a high-ownership role. You will not be working from a script or a playbook that already exists — you will help build it. If you need a fully structured, process-heavy environment to perform, this is not the right fit. If you thrive when given clear goals and the freedom to figure out how to hit them, this is exactly right.
What you will own
- Take qualified leads from the outreach team and run discovery calls to understand their business needs, budget, and timeline
- Write and present proposals for web development, e-commerce, and custom software projects — ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹5,00,000+
- Handle objections, negotiate scope and pricing, and close contracts independently
- Set weekly outreach targeting for the SDR team — defining the industry segment, company profile, and message angle to pursue
- Manage the full pipeline in a shared tracker (CRM/Google Sheets) — updating deal status, follow-up dates, and notes after every interaction
- Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers at client companies for repeat and referral business
- Represent DoonDzn professionally in all external communication — calls, emails, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn
- Contribute to positioning decisions: which verticals to prioritize, what to charge, how to package services
What you need to have
- 2–5 years of sales or business development experience in an IT services company, web development agency, SaaS company, or digital marketing agency
- Demonstrable track record of independently closing deals — not just generating leads or setting appointments
- Confident in running discovery calls over Google Meet / Zoom in English and Hindi
- Can write a clear, persuasive proposal without needing a template handed to you
- Comfortable working with a small team, a fast-paced pipeline, and no micro-management
- Reliable remote setup — stable internet, a dedicated workspace, and responsiveness during working hours
What will make you stand out
- Prior experience selling web development, Shopify/WordPress projects, or software solutions to business clients
- Active LinkedIn presence or an existing network in e-commerce, D2C, or SMB verticals
- Understanding of how a web development project works — discovery, scoping, delivery, and handoff
- Experience targeting international clients (US, UK, Middle East, Southeast Asia)
- Has worked in a startup or small agency where you had to figure things out rather than follow a rigid process
Compensation
- Fixed salary: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month depending on experience and fit
- Performance commission: paid on every deal closed (structure discussed at offer stage)
- Growth path: as DoonDzn scales, this role expands into leading the full sales function and managing the SDR team
Working hours and setup
- Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM IST
- Fully remote — work from anywhere in India
- Daily async check-in with the founder and weekly pipeline review
- Tools: Google Meet, WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn, shared Google Sheets tracker
