About the Role
Arena Animation Kankurgachi is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Telecaller cum Junior Counsellor to engage with prospective students, generate walk-ins, and support the admissions process. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a persuasive personality, and a passion for helping students choose the right career path in animation, VFX, gaming, graphic design, UI/UX, and digital content creation.
This role serves as the first point of contact for prospective students and plays a key role in converting enquiries into admissions through effective communication and consistent follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
1. Telecalling & Lead Management
- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.
- Contact prospective students generated through digital marketing, walk-ins, referrals, events, and other lead sources.
- Qualify leads by understanding the student's educational background, interests, and career aspirations.
- Schedule counselling appointments and encourage walk-ins.
- Maintain regular follow-ups until admission or closure.
- Update lead status and follow-up activities accurately in the CRM.
2. Student Counselling
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding Arena Animation courses, curriculum, certifications, placements, and career opportunities.
- Explain course features, fee structures, payment plans, and batch schedules.
- Address queries and objections confidently while providing appropriate solutions.
- Assist Senior Counsellors during admission discussions and documentation.
- Ensure a positive counselling experience for every prospective student.
3. Admissions Support
- Assist in completing admission formalities and document collection.
- Coordinate with the academic and administrative teams for student onboarding.
- Maintain enquiry records, admission registers, and student databases.
- Support admission drives, seminars, workshops, and promotional events.
4. Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with prospective students and parents.
- Ensure timely responses to phone calls, WhatsApp messages, emails, and social media enquiries.
- Collect feedback from enquiries and communicate recurring concerns to the management.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all student interactions.
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Submit daily calling reports and follow-up reports.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly calling and walk-in targets.
- Work closely with the Centre Manager, Senior Counsellors, and Marketing Team to maximize admissions.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM software.
- Comfortable using telecalling systems, email, and WhatsApp Business.
- Good data entry and record management skills.
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and Bengali.
- Pleasant and confident personality.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Positive attitude with a target-oriented mindset.
- Good listening skills and empathy towards students.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced admissions environment.
Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience: 0–2 years in telecalling, counselling, customer service, or education sales.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
