MSSRF is building a multi-year platform on women’s leadership, innovation and gender-just rural transformation under its women in agri-food and rural systems initiative. The work is focused on advancing the national Women in Agriculture and Rural Systems Awards, supporting strategic field-linked initiatives, and shaping an emerging observatory-style platform on women-centred design, knowledge, partnerships and future pathways. The initiative spans research, coordination, communications, convening and implementation support across national and state-level work, and involves working across multiple stakeholders and workstreams in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative, coordination and logistics support to the JSW Chair, Awards Secretariat and related team activities.
- Manage calendars, meetings, travel, accommodation, reimbursements, contact lists, trackers and shared documentation systems.
- Support the national awards platform, including jury coordination, awardee communication, event preparation, partner follow-up and documentation.
- Draft and manage letters, invitations, emails, minutes of meetings, action trackers, briefing notes and coordination documents.
- Coordinate consultations, roundtables, workshops, convenings and high-level meetings with government, private sector, philanthropic, academic, civil society and international stakeholders.
- Support event logistics, including guest lists, RSVP tracking, registration, venue coordination, hospitality, protocol support and on-ground arrangements.
- Liaise with MSSRF teams, JSW Foundation, senior advisers, partners, vendors, event agencies and service providers.
- Support special initiatives and time-bound projects through scheduling, documentation, logistics, follow-up and organised.
- The position will report to the JSW Chair for Women in Agriculture & Rural Systems and work closely with the awards secretariat team, where applicable.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organisational, coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with ability to draft letters, invitations, meeting notes and coordination emails.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and stakeholders with attention to detail.
- Professional judgement, discretion and comfort in handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel/Sheets, Google Workspace, virtual meeting platforms and digital documentation systems.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with senior leadership, awardees, partners, vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure during peak event periods; willingness to travel if required.
Working knowledge of AI-based productivity tools.

Qualification
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in executive assistance, administration, programme coordination, event coordination or project support.
- Experience in non-profit, CSR, institutional, event management or public-facing programme settings will be an advantage.
- Exposure to senior stakeholder coordination, travel, guest management, event logistics or Delhi-based events/protocol will be preferred.
