Job description:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and expert-level knowledge of Tally ERP software, along with a solid understanding of Indian accounting standards and statutory compliance.
Local candidates will be given preference due to the nature of the role and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including journal entries, ledger updates, and trial balance preparation.
- Maintain accurate financial records in Tally ERP and ensure timely posting and reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Conduct bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations with accuracy.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings, ensuring full compliance.
- Use Advanced Excel tools (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Macros, Power Query) for financial analysis and reporting.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong command over Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime & E-Way bill preparing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and Indian financial regulations.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Tally or Advanced Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems or accounting automation tools.
- Exposure to audit and compliance processes.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
