Job Summary:
We are hiring a Media Services Trainee based in Noida (Work From Office). This is an entry-level contractual role that offers hands-on exposure to video editing, subtitle quality assurance (QA), and content packaging for OTT, broadcast, and digital media platforms.
The role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable handling multiple production tasks in a fast-paced media environment. Freshers with a strong editing portfolio or showreel are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Edit video content, create rough cuts and final edits while ensuring seamless continuity and technical accuracy.
- Perform trimming, sequencing, transitions, audio synchronization, and basic color correction using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Conduct frame-level quality checks across audio and video and identify any technical issues or anomalies.
- Review subtitles and closed captions for timing, synchronization, reading speed, line breaks, positioning, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Verify subtitle files against client and platform style guides and ensure accurate formatting before delivery.
- Check frame rates and subtitle synchronization with video content.
- Assemble and package video, audio, subtitle, and metadata deliverables according to client and platform specifications.
- Apply correct naming conventions, folder structures, and delivery standards while validating packages before handoff.
- Collaborate with Production, QC, Packaging, and Delivery teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and within timelines.
- Maintain high quality standards while working across editing, subtitle QA, and packaging tasks.
Requirements
Must Have
- 0–3 years of experience in video editing, subtitle QA, media operations, or a related field. Freshers with a strong editing portfolio/showreel are encouraged to apply.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Understanding of media formats, frame rates, resolutions, aspect ratios, and video codecs.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Interest in movies, TV shows, OTT platforms, and digital media.
Good to Have
- Exposure to DaVinci Resolve.
- Familiarity with subtitle tools such as Subtitle Edit or Aegisub.
- Knowledge of subtitle formats such as SRT and STL.
- Awareness of packaging specifications, naming conventions, and quality control standards.
- Experience with AI-assisted video editing tools, Adobe Photoshop, motion graphics, or basic sound editing.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
