Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with experience in tool and fixture design using CATIA, preferably in the aerospace domain. The role involves working on legacy drawing conversion projects and supporting design activities for aircraft components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop tools and fixtures using CATIA as per project requirements and aerospace standards.
- Work on legacy drawing conversion, transforming 2D aircraft drawings into accurate 3D models and updated engineering drawings.
- Interpret and analyze old/legacy aircraft drawings, ensuring correct design intent is maintained during conversion.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
- Ensure designs comply with aerospace quality standards and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and project teams for design validation.
- Perform design modifications and improvements based on feedback and project requirements.
- Maintain proper design documentation and revision control.
- Support project timelines by ensuring timely delivery of design outputs.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in CATIA (V5/V6)
- Experience in tool & fixture design
- Knowledge of aerospace components and standards (preferred)
- Good understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings
- Experience in legacy data/drawing conversion
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Qualification:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with aerospace or defense projects
- Exposure to working with clients like Tata Advanced Systems Limited or similar organizations

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
