About the Role
We are looking for a Solar Technician to support the installation, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar power systems. Freshers with an ITI/Diploma in Electrical or related fields are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission solar panels and related electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of solar PV systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical and solar system issues.
- Check and maintain inverters, cables, connectors, junction boxes, and wiring.
- Conduct site visits for installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Follow electrical and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain service reports and update work status.
- Coordinate with the service/operations team for resolving technical issues.
- Ensure proper functioning and performance of installed solar systems.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in solar, electrical, field service, or maintenance.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications can apply.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems and inverters is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to customer/site locations within Bengaluru.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred/mandatory, depending on field requirements.
