About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong electrical engineering background with expertise in design and drafting. Experience in renewable energy projects and Solar PV systems will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design residential, commercial, and utility-scale electrical and solar PV systems.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings and layouts using design software.
- Develop and review technical designs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct design calculations and system evaluations.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for project execution.
- Create and maintain technical reports, documentation, and project records.
- Coordinate with project and execution teams for design implementation.
- Test new systems and recommend design improvements where required.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and regulations.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Design principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
- Ability to prepare electrical drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of Solar PV systems is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- B.E. / B.Tech (Electrical)
- M.E. / M.Tech / MS (Electrical)
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer.
