Overview
The Business Analyst – Talent Acquisition Technical Support role is integral to Gallagher’s global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (CoE), focusing on streamlining and optimizing recruitment processes through technical support and leadership. This position is pivotal in enhancing the efficiency, productivity, and quality of talent acquisition technologies by providing expert guidance and support. The role involves collaborating with HRIS, recruiters, TA leadership, and other operational support groups to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of recruiting technologies and processes. The ideal candidate will effectively navigate a large, complex organization, adapt swiftly to changing circumstances, and proactively address challenges as Gallagher continues to grow its global presence by attracting top talent.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to manage and optimize our talent acquisition technologies through technical support and leadership. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation and integration of our recruitment systems. The position involves partnering with HRIS and other internal stakeholders to drive compliance and efficiency in our talent acquisition processes. Additionally, the Business Analyst will be responsible for training and partnering with other Business Analysts Key Responsibilities within TA and HR to ensure consistent processes and maintaining documentation to support these efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, effectively prioritizes tasks, thinks creatively to solve problems, and is comfortable navigating ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with TA, HR, HRIS, IT, and vendors to understand objectives, align priorities, and serve as a liaison for recruiting technologies.

Elicit, document, and translate business requirements/user stories; perform process mapping and recommend optimizations/automation.

Manage TA technology ecosystem (e.g., ATS, CRM, career site/portal, VMS, LinkedIn, AI/chatbots) in partnership with internal teams and vendors.

Plan and execute testing (UAT, regression, smoke), assess release impacts, and coordinate deployment and communications.

Develop and maintain documentation (BRDs, process flows, SOPs, job aids, test scripts, change logs) with proper version control and audit readiness.

Build dashboards/reports, analyze data to identify trends and insights, and communicate findings to stakeholders and leadership.

Lead initiatives end-to-end: scope, plan, track, and deliver projects; manage risks/issues/changes and ensure timely, quality outcomes.

Prioritize work based on regulatory, financial, and customer impact; escalate and resolve blockers swiftly.

Define and execute the TA technology training strategy and roadmap with HRIS/TA leadership.

Create and govern training assets (role-based curricula, QRGs, SOPs, e-learning/microlearning, FAQs, troubleshooting guides).

Deliver and scale enablement (live virtual/in-person sessions, office hours, self-paced modules, train-the-trainer) for end users across regions/roles.

Measure and improve adoption and proficiency using feedback and metrics (attendance, retention, time-to-proficiency, ticket volumes, usage analytics).

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.

Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations.

Conduct business process analysis and recommend process improvements and optimizations.

Define and document business requirements for new initiatives or projects.

Work with HRIS and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Support project management activities, including project planning, tracking, and reporting.

Provide ongoing support and training to end users on business intelligence tools and systems.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and data analytics.

Design, deliver, and scale role-based training for end users and stakeholders (live, virtual, and self-paced) to drive adoption of BI/TA systems, new features, and best practices.

Build and maintain training assets and knowledge base content (SOPs, quick reference guides, job aids, FAQs), and measure effectiveness to continuously improve enablement.
About you
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
-
3+ years in a training or development role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
