The Senior Purchase Executive is responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor coordination, cost negotiation, inventory support, and ensuring timely purchasing of materials, products, and services while maintaining quality and budget standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Purchasing
- Handle end-to-end purchase process.
- Raise and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies.
- Monitor stock requirements and coordinate with concerned departments.
2. Vendor Management
- Identify and develop new vendors/suppliers.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
3. Negotiation & Cost Control
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Work on cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis reports.
4. Inventory & Coordination
- Coordinate with stores and inventory teams to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Track pending orders and follow up for timely delivery.
- Ensure proper documentation and stock reconciliation.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain purchase records, invoices, agreements, and vendor documents.
- Ensure procurement complies with company policies and GST requirements.
- Prepare procurement reports and MIS as required.
