Job Summary
The Billing Executive is responsible for preparing accurate invoices, processing customer billing transactions, maintaining billing records, and ensuring timely payment collection. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and coordination with internal departments to ensure efficient billing operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and generate invoices, bills, and customer statements accurately and on time.
- Verify billing data, pricing, discounts, taxes, and payment terms before invoice generation.
- Process billing transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
- Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Operations, and other departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Follow up on pending invoices and assist in payment collection.
- Reconcile billing records with customer accounts and financial reports.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and billing issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing and revenue reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing billing-related documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Accounts Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, finance, or a similar role.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and strong analytical skills may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of billing procedures and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Experience with ERP, billing, or accounting software (such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems) is preferred.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
