Senior Executive – Reverse Logistics Operations
Job Summary
The Senior Executive – Reverse Logistics Operations is responsible for managing end-to-end returned device processes, including return booking coordination, pickup follow-up, delivery confirmation, cancellation analysis, receiving and dismantling of returned devices, disposal coordination, MIS reporting, and cross-functional communication. The role ensures timely closure of reverse logistics activities while maintaining process compliance and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Return Booking & Pickup Coordination
- Handle return booking processes for returned medical devices.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and internal teams for timely device pickup.
- Follow up on pending pickups and ensure adherence to turnaround timelines.
- Track shipment status and update stakeholders regularly.
Delivery Confirmation & Cancellation Analysis
- Verify and confirm delivery status of returned devices.
- Identify and analyse booking cancellation reasons and share findings with management.
- Coordinate with customers, logistics providers, and service teams to resolve return-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of cancellations, delays, and failed pickups.
Receiving, Dismantling & Disposal
- Coordinate receiving and inward processing of returned devices.
- Ensure proper inspection, segregation, dismantling, and disposal of returned units as per company procedures.
- Maintain records related to returned materials, scrap handling, and disposal activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and disposal regulations.
Coordination & Process Management
- Act as a central coordination point between customers, logistics, warehouse, service, and operations teams.
- Ensure timely communication and escalation of operational issues.
- Monitor pending cases and drive closure within defined timelines.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives in reverse logistics operations.
MIS Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to:
- Return bookings
- Pickup status
- Delivery confirmations
- Pending and cancelled cases
- Device dismantling and disposal status
- Maintain accurate operational records and trackers.
- Analyse operational data and provide insights for process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics, operations coordination, service operations, or supply chain functions.
- Experience in medical device, healthcare, electronics, or manufacturing industry preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good analytical and reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
- Problem-solving and process-oriented approach.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
