Job Description :
STEP One Step Ahead is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in Manual Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Retesting, and Ad-hoc Testing.
- Execute test cases and report defects using Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation.
- Work closely with Developers and Business Analysts to resolve issues.
- Share daily testing status, defect reports, and project updates.
Required Skills :
- 1–2 years of Manual Testing experience.
- Good understanding of STLC and Bug Life Cycle.
- Experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Retesting.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
- Basic SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred.
