## Role Summary
Hamsa Rehab is looking for a proactive and result-oriented **Business Development Executive** to strengthen local referral networks and expand patient reach in Chennai, especially in and around Thoraipakkam. This is a field-based role focused on direct relationship building with doctors, clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, corporate organizations, and community partners.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in healthcare-related business development or field marketing and be comfortable with daily field visits, outreach activities, and local market development. The role requires strong communication skills, professional presentation, and the ability to generate patient enquiries and referral opportunities through on-ground efforts.
## Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular field visits to doctors, clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, physiotherapy centres, diagnostic centres, and allied healthcare providers.
- Build and maintain strong referral relationships with medical professionals and community partners.
- Promote Hamsa Rehab’s outpatient, home-care, and rehabilitation services through direct business development activities.
- Identify new business opportunities and referral channels within Chennai and nearby areas.
- Develop local partnerships with hospitals, corporates, wellness centres, and community organizations.
- Organize and support health camps, awareness programs, doctor meets, and local outreach events.
- Coordinate with internal operations and clinical teams for smooth patient onboarding and follow-up.
- Distribute brochures, leaflets, and other promotional materials during field visits and events.
- Maintain daily visit reports, referral records, enquiry tracking, and monthly performance updates.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, service gaps, and local opportunities.
- Support patient engagement and follow-up activities to improve conversions and retention.
## Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Health Administration, or any related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in field marketing, business development, or healthcare outreach.
- Prior experience in rehabilitation, physiotherapy, hospital, clinic, or allied health services is highly preferred.
- Candidate should be based in Chennai or willing to travel extensively within the city and nearby locations.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and professional relationships with healthcare providers.
- Basic working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Tamil is preferred; English communication ability is an advantage.
