We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Logistics Branch Manager to oversee and manage the overall operations, business development, and strategic growth of our logistics division. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to drive business performance while ensuring exceptional customer service and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and identify new market opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend strategies to enhance business performance.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all departments, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Take charge of operational activities whenever required to ensure business continuity.
- Ensure the timely, safe, and cost-effective movement of cargo and shipments.
- Manage warehouse, transportation, documentation, pricing, and freight operations.
- Control operational costs, improve profit margins, and optimize overall efficiency.
- Handle major purchases, vendor contracts, and credit limits with prior management approval.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, shipping lines, and international agents.
- Lead sales and business development initiatives to acquire new clients and expand existing business.
- Review and approve pricing strategies and customer quotations.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve escalated customer concerns promptly.
- Monitor client feedback and implement corrective actions to improve service quality.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate with international partners and stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Oversee the company's infrastructure, facilities, and administrative functions.
- Prepare and submit regular operational and performance reports to the Management Directors.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members while fostering a productive, safe, and professional work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain management, with leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, customs regulations, transportation, warehousing, and international logistics.
- Proven experience in business development, operations management, and team leadership.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational functions effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management software is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
