"Executive – Product Development & E-Commerce Operations" doesn't fully capture the nature of the role if the person is responsible for curating and selecting every product used across your hotels (furniture, décor, amenities, tableware, linens, uniforms, retail products, etc.). In luxury hospitality, "product" refers to the overall guest experience, not just e-commerce.
The role involves identifying and selecting furniture, décor, room amenities, tableware, uniforms, artwork, retail merchandise, and lifestyle products that align with the Group's luxury hospitality philosophy. The incumbent will also manage the Group's e-commerce initiatives, including online retail, product catalogues, marketplace coordination, and digital merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
- Curate and develop products for guest rooms, restaurants, bars, and public spaces.
- Source unique products, handcrafted items, décor, FF&E, OS&E, and guest amenities.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, chefs, and operations teams during hotel development and renovations.
- Identify artisans, luxury brands, and vendors that complement Honar Group's design philosophy.
- Develop exclusive merchandise and retail collections for hotel boutiques and online sales.
- Manage the Group's e-commerce platform, product listings, pricing, inventory coordination, and order fulfillment.
- Coordinate product photography, descriptions, and digital merchandising.
- Conduct market research on luxury hospitality, design, lifestyle, and retail trends.
- Ensure all selected products meet the Group's quality, sustainability, and brand standards.
- Work closely with procurement to ensure timely sourcing and vendor management.
Preferred Candidate
- 2–5 years of experience in luxury hospitality, interior design, lifestyle retail, product development, merchandising, or e-commerce.
- Strong aesthetic sense with an eye for design, craftsmanship, and luxury products.
- Experience working with artisans, premium suppliers, and hospitality vendors.
- Knowledge of digital commerce platforms and merchandising.
- Excellent coordination, project management, and communication skills.
