* Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of all drugs within the facility, ensuring life-saving medications are always available.
* Check dispensed drugs for accuracy, expiration dates, and proper storage temperatures.
* Help maintain the hospital's approved drug list, ensuring that prescribed treatments are both cost-effective and evidence-based.
* Work on institutional committees—such as the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee—to enforce infection control standards and medication protocols.
