Job Title: ICU Staff Nurse

Reporting To: Nursing Superintendent / ICU Incharge / Duty Doctor
Job Summary:
An ICU Staff Nurse is responsible for providing critical care nursing services to seriously ill or injured patients admitted in the Intensive Care Unit. The ICU Nurse monitors patient conditions, administers medications, operates critical care equipment, and supports doctors during emergency treatments and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide intensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, ECG, ventilator settings, and patient condition continuously.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during emergency procedures and critical care interventions.
- Operate and monitor ICU equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and defibrillators.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Respond quickly to medical emergencies and code situations.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative critical care.
- Educate and support patient attendants and family members.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare staff for patient management.
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of ICU equipment and beds.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Registered Nurse certification.
- ICU training or certification preferred.
Skills Required:
- Critical care and emergency handling skills.
- Knowledge of ICU equipment and monitoring systems.
- Strong observation and decision-making ability.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Patient care and documentation skills.
Working Conditions:

Experience:
- Fresher or experienced candidates can apply.
- Minimum 1–2 years ICU experience preferred for experienced positions.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
