Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort and ensure smooth, efficient, and guest-focused functioning across all operational departments.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in resort/hotel operations, guest experience, team management, service quality, cost control, and operational planning. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with various departments and ensuring that the resort consistently meets its operational, financial, and guest-service objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Resort Operations
- Oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the resort.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Security, Recreation, and other departments.
- Establish and implement operational standards, SOPs, and service procedures.
- Monitor daily operations and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Ensure optimum utilization of rooms, facilities, manpower, and other resources.
2. Guest Experience & Service Quality
- Ensure high standards of guest service and hospitality.
- Monitor guest feedback, complaints, reviews, and satisfaction levels.
- Handle escalated guest complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Develop initiatives to improve guest experience, repeat business, and overall resort reputation.
3. Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and motivate operational teams.
- Ensure adequate manpower deployment based on occupancy and business requirements.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to department heads and team members.
- Identify training requirements and coordinate hospitality/service training programs.
- Promote discipline, professionalism, grooming, and service standards.
4. Revenue & Cost Management
- Work closely with the General Manager and Finance team to achieve operational and financial targets.
- Monitor departmental expenses and control unnecessary operational costs.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning.
- Monitor room occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, F&B performance, and other key operational indicators.
- Ensure proper control over inventory, wastage, consumables, and operational resources.
5. Food & Beverage Operations
- Coordinate with F&B teams to ensure efficient restaurant, banquet, room-service, and event operations.
- Ensure food quality, service standards, hygiene, and cost controls.
- Monitor F&B revenue, wastage, inventory, and customer feedback.
6. Maintenance & Facility Management
- Coordinate with the Engineering/Maintenance team to ensure proper functioning of resort facilities.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Monitor cleanliness, landscaping, swimming pool, recreational facilities, guest areas, and other resort infrastructure.
- Ensure all safety and emergency procedures are properly implemented.
7. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, safety, health, fire, food safety, and hospitality regulations.
- Ensure proper implementation of fire and emergency response procedures.
- Coordinate with Security and other departments to maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
8. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, travel partners, event organizers, and other external stakeholders.
- Monitor vendor performance and service quality.
- Support procurement and ensure cost-effective sourcing of operational requirements.
9. Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare and submit regular operational reports to the General Manager/CEO.
- Monitor key operational KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular departmental reviews and implement corrective actions.
- Use operational data and guest feedback to improve resort performance.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
