K.R.S. Engineering India Private Limited is a leading sheet metal fabrication company specializing in laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, and precision-engineered fabrication solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled CAD Designer with hands-on experience in laser cutting and sheet metal manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D CAD drawings for sheet metal manufacturing.
- Create accurate nesting layouts to optimize material utilization.
- Develop bending layouts and flat pattern developments for fabricated components.
- Generate NC programs for CNC laser cutting machines.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings based on customer specifications.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and planning departments to ensure smooth execution.
- Verify drawings before production to minimize errors and material wastage.
- Modify and revise customer drawings whenever required.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions.
- Optimize cutting time and material usage through efficient nesting.
- Ensure drawings comply with manufacturing standards and customer requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- Hands-on experience in sheet metal development and bending calculations.
- Experience in nesting software.
- Knowledge of laser cutting machine programming.
- Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of tolerances, bend deductions, and manufacturing standards.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
Preferred Software Knowledge
- AutoCAD
- Nesting
- Laser machine programming software
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software will be an added advantage.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the sheet metal or laser cutting industry.
- Experience in nesting, sheet metal development, bending layouts, and laser programming is mandatory.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
