Job Description: Social Media Team Lead
Role Summary
The Social Media Team Lead is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance brand visibility, engagement, lead generation, and customer relationships. The role involves leading a team of content creators, designers, and community managers while ensuring consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Create monthly and annual social media content calendars.
- Identify new trends, platforms, and opportunities for audience growth.
- Plan and execute campaigns for brand awareness, lead generation, events, and promotions.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the social media team.
- Assign tasks and monitor team performance and productivity.
- Conduct regular training sessions on social media trends and best practices.
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, events, and design teams.
Content Management
- Oversee creation of engaging content including posts, reels, videos, stories, blogs, and campaigns.
- Ensure brand consistency across all social media platforms.
- Approve content before publication.
- Guide creative storytelling and campaign development.
Community Management
- Monitor audience engagement and respond to comments, messages, and reviews.
- Manage online reputation and customer interactions.
- Escalate customer concerns to relevant departments when necessary.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including reach, engagement, follower growth, leads, and conversions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Use data insights to optimize content and campaign performance.
Paid Social Media Campaigns
- Manage social media advertising budgets.
- Plan and optimize paid campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
- Monitor ROI and campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing.
- Minimum 1–2 years of team leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of Meta Ads, LinkedIn Marketing, YouTube, and social media analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and presentation skills.
- Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
Work Location: Remote
