EDUCATION
- Any Graduate / Post Graduate
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) or any Graduate with relevant experience
- Diploma holders with strong tendering experience may also be considered
- Certification or training in Contracts / Procurement / Project Management is an added advantage
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in tendering, bidding, or contracts
- Experience in construction / EPC / infrastructure / industrial projects preferred
- Familiarity with government, PSU, and private tenders
Job Description - Responsibilities
- Search and track new tenders (online portals / client notifications)
- Review tender documents, drawings, BOQ, and specifications
- Analyze scope of work and commercial terms
- Identify risks, exclusions, and clarifications required
- Prepare detailed cost estimates (material, labour, machinery, overheads)
- Prepare cost summary and pricing sheet
Tender Preparation & Submission
- Prepare technical and commercial bid documents
- Compile compliance statements
- Prepare deviation sheets (if any)
- Ensure all required documents are attached (EMD, solvency, credentials, etc.)
- Submit tender within deadline (online/offline)
Post-Tender Follow-Up
- Coordinate with client for clarifications
- Attend pre-bid meetings
- Provide revised quotes if required
- Support negotiation discussions
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain tender log register
- Keep record of submitted bids and outcomes
- Prepare tender status reports for management
- Maintain cost database for future reference
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of BOQ and drawings
- Good costing and rate analysis skills
- Commercial awareness
- Negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel
