Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – MEP Engineer to oversee and manage MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) works for school construction and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, coordination with contractors, quality control, and timely completion of MEP works.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor all MEP works at the project site.
- Manage electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other MEP installations.
- Coordinate with architects, civil teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Review MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents.
- Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and timelines.
- Ensure MEP works comply with approved designs, standards, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Manage contractors and subcontractors and track their performance.
- Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely availability at site.
- Prepare progress reports, project updates, and documentation.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure successful testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 10 + years of relevant experience in MEP/project management.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, and site execution.
- Experience in managing contractors and multiple stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MEP drawings.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in school, institutional projects will be added advantage.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
