Job Title: Redwood Run My Jobs Expert
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Redwood RunMyJobs Expert to design, implement, and manage enterprise workload automation solutions. The candidate will play a key role in job scheduling, automation orchestration, and migration from legacy schedulers (e.g., Autosys, Tidal) to Redwood RunMyJobs, especially in SAP S/4HANA environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Implementation
- Design and implement workload automation solutions using Redwood RunMyJobs
- Configure job scheduling, event-driven workflows, and automation pipelines
- Build reusable automation templates and workflows using platform capabilities
2. Migration & Transformation
- Lead migration from legacy schedulers (Autosys, Tidal, Control-M, etc.) to Redwood
- Perform dependency analysis, job mapping, and cutover planning
- Ensure minimal business disruption during migration
3. SAP Integration & Automation
- Implement integration with SAP ECC / S/4HANA systems
- Leverage Redwood s native SAP connectivity and templates
- Automate SAP batch jobs, financial processes, and data workflows
(Redwood supports SAP and other ERP integrations natively
4. Orchestration & Monitoring
- Manage event-based job execution and cross-application orchestration
- Monitor job performance, SLA adherence, and failure handling
- Configure s, dashboards, and reporting
5. File Transfer & Data Workflow Automation
- Manage secure file transfers and data pipelines
- Automate end-to-end data processing workflows
6. Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort using automation
- Optimize job performance, scheduling logic, and resource utilization
- Implement best practices for clean core and minimal customization
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Redwood RunMyJobs (RMJ)
- Experience with workload automation tools (Autosys / Tidal / Control-M)
- Knowledge of:
- Job scheduling & workflow orchestration
- Event-driven automation
- File transfer automation
SAP & Integration Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA / ECC job automation
- Understanding of integration methods:
- REST / SOAP APIs
- SAP RFC connections
- Database integrations (JDBC)
Migration Expertise
- Experience in at least one scheduler migration project
- Good understanding of dependency analysis and job conversion strategies
Other Technical Skills
- Scripting knowledge: Shell / Python / PowerShell
- Knowledge of databases (Oracle / SQL Server)
- Understanding of Unix/Linux environments
Preferred Skills
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
- Exposure to cloud-based SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with DevOps / CI-CD integration
- Experience in enterprise-scale automation programs
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional (business + IT) teams
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in client-facing roles (preferred for consulting environments like UST)
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering / IT / Computer Science
- 6+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in workload automation
- Redwood RunMyJobs certification (preferred)
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Migration from Autosys to Redwood (relevant to your current programs)
- SAP batch job optimization
- Large-scale enterprise orchestration environments
