Primary / Middle School English Teacher
Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our school faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English language and literature to primary and middle school students, fostering strong communication, reading, writing and critical-thinking skills in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, speaking and listening skills.
- Encourage students to develop a love for reading and literature.
- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, tests and classroom participation.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments and student performance.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings and professional development programs.
- Implement classroom management strategies that promote respectful behavior and active learning.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction where appropriate.
Qualifications
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred/required as per school policy).
- Previous teaching experience in primary or middle school is preferred.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
