Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and supervise all mechanical MEP works including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and gas systems as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with electrical, architectural, and other MEP teams to ensure smooth site execution and clash-free installation.
- Review and implement shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Monitor daily site activities, manpower deployment, and productivity to meet project schedules.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
- Identify and resolve site-related technical issues and provide engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely execution and material delivery.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and attend coordination meetings with consultants and clients.
- Ensure proper documentation including as-built drawings, test reports, and O&M manuals.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems, and relevant codes/standards.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
- Good coordination, communication, and site management skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in MEP project execution (commercial/residential/hospitality projects preferred).
