Job Title: YouTube Video Editor – Geopolitics & News (Work From Home)
We are looking for a creative and dedicated YouTube Video Editor for a Geopolitics, Defence and Current Affairs YouTube channel.
Job Type: Full-Time / Monthly Basis
Work Location: Remote / Work From Home
Salary: ₹8,000 – ₹10,000 per month
Job Responsibilities
- Edit 1 YouTube video daily (approximately 10–15 minutes).
- Edit 2–3 YouTube Shorts / Reels daily.
- Edit green screen / talking-head videos.
- Find and add relevant news footage, images and B-roll according to the topic and script.
- Add maps, news headlines, screenshots and relevant visuals where required.
- Add basic motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects and background music.
- Maintain an engaging and professional news/documentary-style editing format.
- Deliver all assigned videos on time.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar video editing software.
- Good understanding of YouTube long-form videos and Shorts/Reels.
- Ability to research and select relevant visuals and B-roll.
- Interest in Geopolitics, Defence and Current Affairs will be preferred.
- Creative mindset and willingness to learn.
Freshers with good editing skills can also apply.
Candidates with News, Documentary, Educational or Geopolitics-style video editing experience will be preferred.
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a short trial edit before final selection.
