Position description: Join Jindal Ferrous Limited's Blast Furnace - E&A department as a key technical professional responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of iron making projects. This role demands a thorough understanding of blast furnace operations, project management, and engineering principles within the mining and metals industry. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the detailed engineering design and development of iron making projects within the blast furnace division.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Support the implementation of safety protocols and compliance with environmental regulations during project execution.
- Conduct technical analysis and troubleshooting of blast furnace operations to identify areas for process optimization.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to facilitate smooth commissioning and handover of new installations.
- Prepare technical documentation, including project specifications, drawings, and operation manuals.
- Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential project challenges.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational data and recommending engineering solutions.
- Support training programs for junior engineers and operational staff on new technologies and project updates.
