The Gardening & Maintenance Staff is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, functionality, and safety of Casa Azul's indoor and outdoor facilities. This role includes caring for gardens and landscaped areas, performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, and ensuring that all property facilities are well-maintained to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Key ResponsibilitiesGardening Duties
- Maintain lawns, gardens, flower beds, shrubs, trees, and landscaped areas.
- Water, prune, trim, weed, fertilize, and plant seasonal flowers and greenery.
- Monitor plant health and identify pests, diseases, or irrigation issues.
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment safely.
- Keep all outdoor spaces, pathways, patios, and entrances clean and attractive.
- Dispose of garden waste responsibly and maintain compost or green waste areas where applicable.
Maintenance Duties
- Perform routine inspections of buildings, guest areas, and outdoor facilities.
- Carry out minor repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical fixtures (within competency), and general handyman tasks.
- Ensure lighting, water systems, pumps, irrigation systems, and outdoor equipment are functioning properly.
- Assist in preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
- Report major maintenance issues requiring specialized contractors.
- Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and storage areas in good condition.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property.
- Assist with setting up outdoor areas for guest events or special occasions.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Use equipment, tools, chemicals, and maintenance materials safely and responsibly.
- Support other operational departments as required.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, building maintenance, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry is desirable.
- Familiarity with gardening tools and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
