About the Role
Sharpline Broadcast Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with TallyPrime/Tally ERP, strong accounting fundamentals, and a sound understanding of GST, TDS, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Record day-to-day accounting transactions using TallyPrime/Tally ERP.
- Prepare and process sales and purchase invoices.
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Maintain cash book and petty cash records.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with TallyPrime/Tally ERP.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic Formulas).
- Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Experience in Bank Reconciliation (BRS).
- Financial reporting and MIS preparation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in handling statutory compliance and financial reporting will be preferred.
