Job Description
Mattic Packing is looking for a talented Packaging Designer with strong experience in dieline creation, packaging development, and box structure design. The ideal candidate should also have basic knowledge of CNC machine operation and file preparation for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate dielines for rigid boxes, jewellery boxes, gift boxes, perfume boxes, and custom packaging.
- Develop innovative packaging concepts and structural designs.
- Prepare production-ready artwork and cutting files.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth execution.
- Operate CNC machines when required and understand machine settings, tooling, and file setup.
- Assist in sample development and prototype creation.
- Optimise designs for production efficiency and material utilization.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging design.
- Strong knowledge of dieline creation and structural packaging design.
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
- Basic CNC machine operation knowledge (no need for full-time machine operation).
- Experience in jewellery boxes, gift boxes, luxury packaging, or rigid box manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
